Pros

Excellent working environment with many opportunities to grow and improve within the company. As an intern, many full time employees were very apt to teach and guide the new hires on certain tasks and provide career type of advice and insight.

Cons

No cons come to mind which were detrimental to my experience with Atkins. I would certainly consider working with them again in the future and would recommend them to peers as well.

- Atkins is a well known brand that is recognised within the engineering sector.

Cons

- Salaries are much lower than market rates and not enough done to retain staff - Work life balance is poor - employees work way beyond the contractual - Extreme politics within the HR Department, favouritism for certain employees - Ethics questioned on a daily basis, diverse culture has changed; replaced with Filipino and Indian nationals as salaries are lower - Not enough done to develop top talent within the organisation
