      Pros

      In my department, our professional expertise was valued and our manager gave us plenty of autonomy.

      Cons

      Pay well below market rate for my experience (the job I went to paid over 10k more for the same role). Everybody has to be involved and give their two penny-worth, which makes it slow to progress on anything. Open plan working areas made it very noisy and hard to concentrate.

      Pros

      Direct supervisor makes work experience very positive. Firm has a clear vision for growth. Talented and trusted leadership. Great firm with great people on a positive trajectory.

      Cons

      Centralized decision making authority manages direction of growth well but creates cumbersome and slow approval process. Extensive systems and processes create abundance of internal focused work.
