      Pays for professional dues, pay is decent, company employee activity club, medical, dental, 401k, 15 days of vacation, experienced staff

      Cons

      Office was too hot, coffee was sour, mugs were not provided for coffee, there was limited flavors of the coffee, people don't always say good morning

      Pros

      Big organisation that has a wide portfolio of activities to attract most engineers. Good reputation, great feeling of belonging come along with flying the Atkins colors. Active social calendar at most offices. Welfare support second to none. Staff discount schemes. Cycle to work scheme (in UK). Staff-facing whistleblower policy.

      Cons

      Silo working can limit the effective integration of skillsets and activities - geography should be an irrelevance in the 21st century but a legacy of old skool thinking in some of the management can rule the roost. Not good for staff morale if a change in business activities leaves you high and dry. You do the math, have an escape strategy.
