Pros
Global company. Well respected in its industry. Does a lot of Projects. Has good benefits. Pays fairly well. Gives you the opportunities to go on courses and gain industry qualifications.
Cons
Bad management. Luck of the draw if you'll be looked after. Bad on some projects with change control. Since joining the company all I have done is Document Control. This is not my job and I haven't had the opportunities to prevent this. When I have brought this up at my PDR etc.. it took up to 3 months to make any changes and they were never significant and always relapsed back into a role that I ought not to be doing. I am very disappointed with my experience. Don't seem to have a place for me. Seems like the hired me for the sake of having an apprentice.. possibly they get money from the government.. or to fill me in a low positions in the company that people try and move up from
