Good opportunity for beginning Engineers or Scientists to get a leg in the door for environment science, construction, or Civil engineering.

Cons

Room for career development or advancement is limited. After 2-3 years hear you will become stagnant due to the poor leadership of the senior management.

Big Firm, job security, Global opportunities. Potential for varied work (however this is mainly gained at satellite locations and done in london)

Cons

No evidence of a business plan in my department. Not a sustainable department - need other Atkins offices to deliver a job. Lower level employees not involved in decisions made about them. Poor salary compared to our competitors.

PBS&J has newly been acquired by a Brithish firm Atkins. May open doors for other opportunities in othe countries if interested.

Cons

The company has gone through lot of upheavel and is still trying to stand up on its feet, hence got acquired by a Brithish firm Atkins.
