Pros

Good people. Got the sense they genuinely wanted to help people succeed.

Cons

Things didn't end on the greatest terms but that was partially my fault and partially them trying to avoid any confrontation.

Pros

- This career is an 11 out of 10 for competitiveness. As in many other fields, the 80-20 rule generally applies. Eighty percent of the business is done by 20 percent of the recruiters. Look at enough of the placement emails and you see the same recruiters names over and over again. We are each the CEO of our own career and we each have to create and control our own personal brand. You get what you put into it and the partners give you all the resources to be successful and make a lot of money. - The earnings potential is HUGE, the best recruiters here make A LOT of money, especially those who manage clients. - No one micro-manages so it’s not as stressful compared to other firms that’s more metrics driven.  - There are more job orders than candidates to fill (which can be a negative too), - The senior recruiters and partners have strong longstanding loyal relationships with a lot of quality clients that end up being recurring business year over year. Many relationships are exclusives and those clients that aren't tend to come to us first for a head start. - It’s a shame to see some of these negative reviews here because it’s from the low performers who couldn’t make it in this business, left within a year and got caught up in the gossip. Not everyone has the personality or drive to make it big here. It takes a good 12-18 months to build up a book of business, become successful and make a lot of money in agency recruiting.

Cons

- The partners expect you to come to the office 5 days a week when many other firms have hybrid remote policies. They don’t realize how the workforce shifted over the last 2 years and it’s truly hurting their retention rates and makes it difficult to find new recruiters. Let’s be real- you can do recruiting anywhere. Their primary reasoning is because people slack off at home and don't work as hard but those are the people who will slack off in the office too. - There should be more employee recognition and firm/group events to keep everyone engaged and connected.

Pros

Very young company culture, fun and the partners/managers want you to succeed

Cons

A bit cliquey, have to put in a lot of hours and time before any headway is made - low base salary and low commission until you get the ball rolling, this can take a while
