Pros

- Strong talent pool - Work from home culture - Competitive compensation

Cons

- Managers micromanages individuals In multiple one-on-one interactions, individuals have felt disrespected. At times, conversations become aggressive in tone. There have also been frequent and abrupt shifts in career direction, unnecessary escalations, and discussions about an individual’s performance shared with others without consent. Comparisons are made with other high-performing individuals, despite leadership guidance that such comparisons should not be done openly or informally. - Managers are here to create competition between team members not for building healthy team or team bonding - After receiving unfavorable ratings in team insight or pulse surveys, managers sometimes react defensively. Instead of reflecting on the feedback and addressing underlying issues, they approach individuals directly, questioning why specific feedback was given.

Pros

Pays well, remote, nothing else

Cons

My guess for some reason Mike thought that he can make it better without Scott. Scott waved good bye, Mike went cargo culting Meta to the brim, and the company started to lose its soul. After a few performance layoffs cycles it’s just a living dead. Everyone I speak with work for money only, pushing meaningless OKRs. I’ll stop here, everything is already said in every review. Today mid year APEX was declared gone. They will screw you this way or the other. They claimed they listened- it’s all lies.

Pros

Nice laptop, AI dev tools

Cons

Culture of fear prevails. Everyone is trying to ensure they aren’t fired at the next performance cycle. Without forced firings of the bottom percent it could be a great place. But instead everyone is spinning gears trying to show enough impact and afraid to take truly innovative bets.
