Pros

Generous salary, RSUs, company bonuses and perks Opportunities for travel (when budget allows) Fun ITGs onsite Talented, helpful team members

Cons

Cut-throat performance management system (APEX) - bottom-rated employees are PIP’d and exited regardless of impact Frequent layoffs including quiet layoffs (so much for “open company, no bulls***”) Expectations are not communicated clearly, and management keep changing them as CYA tactic and justification for PIPs. Learning curves are penalised instead of coached through. Team leads deliberately block important information to “test how you navigate ambiguity” You are expected to navigate the company structure with next to no guidance, under the guise of “being able to navigate ambiguity”. All whilst, ironically, creating ambiguity in the first place. Goalposts frequently moving making it impossible to meet APEX goals, which then blocks career progression
