Pros

Flexibility and Stability. As a PRN employee you can decide where and when you want to work. Perfect for working parents and students.

Cons

The pay is much less than other hospitals/agencies. Travelers make double to triple the amount. Which is basically what a float nurse does.

Pros

Huge hospital system - once you get into it (which can be hard to do), there are a lot of opportunities.

Cons

Horrible pay, bad benefits (health insurance), low raises, bad patient/nurse ratios, CEO makes too much compared to rest of staff.
