Pros

The company gives you great exposure to many different corporate cultures through different placements in short term positions.

Cons

I was clear when I went in that I wanted a temp to hire position but ended up working with them for a year bouncing from short term position to short term position. I understand that the company needs to make their money off of each person but they should have been honest as to how long you need to temp before they send you to the temp to permanent positions. Also once I was offered a position with the company I was temping for they would not let me out of my contract. The company had to wait out the contract with Atrium in order to hire me without paying a penalty.

Pros

In the beginning they will help you

Cons

They do not listen to you in terms of the temp and permanent positions you are looking for Constantly putting you up for the same temp positions you turned down Stop looking for positions and do not stay in touch with you They are very clueless Low pay even with experience and a college degree Supervisor and her staff only see you as their meal ticket.

Pros

they might find an entry level job. they might send you to a great company but don't expect to get paid much. if you think of it as an internship, maybe you can handle it. you can meet people. you can take some computer tests. get to see union square. online timecard.

Cons

companies treat temps as slaves. temps sign rights away. you are the bottom, company middle, and pimp is first. low wages. benefits after working for months but they cost almost your whole check. expect to be watched on assignment like an ex-con. every regular employee is your boss.
