Good Starting Place to Intern

Pros

Interesting to get a glimpse of the inner workings of a radio station and company. Wide range of projects you get to work on. Flexible about schedule.

Cons

There is not very much transparency. Company culture also felt a little cold at times, but it might be different working there full-time.

Pros

CEO genuinely seems to want to try to and make the company a good place to work. Compared to the other large broadcasters, Entercom comes across as being, "Not as bad to work for than the others."

Cons

Radio industry as a whole is depressed. Cronyism results in some bad management in place. CEO is out of touch with rank and file. Company is saddled with debt that restricts their ability to compete. Company is paying dividends while unable to invest in equipment and people!!! Recently cut back benefits and 401(k) matches. Insurance gets worse every year.
