Learned a lot, given a lot of responsibility, but more hours and less pay than comparable firms.

Successful investors who provide good co-invest returns to employees, extremely smart/motivated people, given a lot of responsibility from the get-go

Cons

Number of hours expected at the junior levels is excessive, and pay is not at level of comparable firms. Sometimes too much of a black-box feeling about high-level firm decisions.

When they have a good year they can have nice holiday parties etc. Nothing compared to other shops though

Cons

Very simple basic work Make you work long hours for no reason at all Promote within, not based on experience overall which leads to classic middle management syndrome Treat you like a child You have no voice even if what you are trying to say is correct
