Pros

1. Benefits are good 2. Complementary lunches 3. Culture / Events 4. Tuition Reimbursement

Cons

1. Management needs training. The initial 2 days training doesn't cut it. 2. HR does not seem to care about the employees and helping them if they have issues/concerns. They seem to be more worried about bringing the employee count up. 3. Overworked / Underpaid. 4. Horrible pay increases. You can be a strong performer and only receive 1% increase. The only way to get a good increase is to be promoted. But, that is something hard to do as they seem to hand pick the one(s) they want, and write the job recs for job postings fit for that specific person(s). 5. Politics, politics, politics! 6. You feel unvalued. 7. No space! They keep bringing in more employees which is great, but have NO place to put them. 8. Micromanagement in FULL force

- Get ready to work extra hours every day, year round. - do not get paid for on call every month or so. worst case, every other weekend. Not paid even dime for all extra weekends you work.

Be Concerned About Post-Employment Practices

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Great learning opportunities and exposure to large-scale projects. Strong brand recognition, though its value feels diminished by concerns some former employees have raised about post-employment experiences in the recent years.

Cons

Some former employees also expressed concern that negative or unfair feedback could follow them outside of Amazon, potentially creating barriers to securing future opportunities. Feeling unsafe on social platforms like LinkedIn - no choice but to deactivate accounts. There was a perceived lack of transparency around rehire eligibility and post-exit policies. Layoffs were often seen as disproportionately affecting individuals considered “outsiders.”
