Pros
The company had a great promise-growing, not too big with offices in Texas, Louisiana and other parts of the country as well as central America. The work-life balance is good, and not too intrusive into personal lives. Even though the HQ is in Houston, the culture and values are still very much influenced by Louisiana. Compensation is competitive with the area, and the benefits are slightly above average for the industry. There are many opportunities to be trained with Audubon university. The people are great to work with and generally very sharp. The work processes are easy to learn and simple enough to not get in the way of doing your job well. Work environment is easy-going and flexible. Campus-like atmosphere.
Cons
Senior managers do not listen to everyday workers, or even their middle managers. Upper management tends to micromanage those under them, making their decisions for them. The company has fallen into an area where they are not sure who they want to be and which market share they need to pursue. The hiring process is slow and cumbersome for a company as small as Audubon.
