Pros

Magnet hospital; teaching hospital. Competitive wages, 401K. You are working for a well oiled established hospital.

Cons

Short staffed in all departments. Not enough supplies. Not enough training when new programs are added to computers. Some PCS's can be condescending.

It's great working for a place that listens to me, and where my voice matters! These ICU nurses love taking care of the sickest patients and working with the doctors, RT, PT and all the people it takes to get the patients better and moving again!

Cons

The unit could be bigger, with more rooms for more patients. They would have no problem filling those rooms with sick patients!
