      Pros

      A future-focused company that encourages teams/employees to live their values in action. An engineering firm whose design DNA is undergoing a massive change. Those who seek traditional ways of working may find the aurecon way demanding. However, those who enjoy a growth mindset could thrive.

      Cons

      The company invests in people and sets expectations accordingly - sometimes disproportionate expectations too. Ensure you set realistic boundaries, negotiate industry bandwidths (remuneration/benefits) and make goals/targets review an ongoing conversation with your seniors. Parts of the business continue to operate under the hero mentality that values shareholder returns ahead of teams.

      Pros

      Good salaries and opportunities to take on more responsibility. Excellent design career paths. Good global mobility opportunities. Some amazing projects. Excellent diversity, inclusion and flexible working cultures.

      Cons

      Not everyone is working in the best interests of the company. There are still some empires and silos to breakdown. Support services (HR, HSEQ...etc) are early maturity. Pace of change will suit some and not others.
