Pros

Working with kids with ASD is a great experience. I like ABA as a practice as well.

Cons

ALP is very disorganized. They are poor communicators and will leave you confused frequently. Just getting started on the job took a long time. There were several changes to my schedule that I was never asked about or even informed about until the day of. There are also several strange policies about pay they don't tell you about that make sure they don't pay you as much as you thought. You also cannot expect very many hours at all and definitely no consistency.

We appreciate your time at ALP and are happy to hear you enjoyed working with our kiddos. We may be a little biased, but we love them too! Supporting our clients and seeing them progress is the best part of being a Behavior Technician. We make it a regular practice to encourage our employees to communicate concerns and ask questions by offering them multiple ways to reach out – through meetings, employee surveys, and conversations with their direct supervisor. We thank you for your service and wish you the best in your future endeavors!

Thank you for supporting ALP’s mission and making a difference in the lives of our families! We appreciate the time you spent at our Support Center and the work you contributed. Remote work has become much more common since the pandemic and we’re glad you were able to take advantage of that flexibility while working in our Client Services department. We believe it doesn’t matter the location from which you support our teams; it’s far more important how you do it! We care deeply about our employees, and we always want to hear feedback to help us improve our employee experience and our company as a whole. For example, recently we completed our annual employee satisfaction survey to continue the conversation around what our employees want and need to feel supported and seen in their jobs. Work/life balance is a big priority for us, and we strive to do all we can to ensure our staff is well cared for. This covers everything from flexible scheduling to EAP benefits to training and support for our employees. Thanks again for helping to support both our families and our clinicians working in the field.
