Pros

Good salary. They tend to promote from within.

Cons

Understaffed and corporate is unlikely to approve more positions. You're expected to be fully-trained before your first anniversary and if you fall behind in your workload you won't get any help. You are left to yourself to try to keep your head above water. Once you get behind, you are micro managed and treated like a child. If you stand up for yourself at all or give any pushback, they'll make it very uncomfortable for you to stay there.

Pros

The company is stable and never laid off any employees. The flexibility has improved in the last couple of years. For the most part it is a no pressure environment. Benefits are decent.

Cons

The communication is horrible between corporate and the branch. The company also lacks a sense of urgency on just about every business decision, which makes improvement and efficiency very hard to do. Upper management has no desire to listen to any feedback on how to improve the company. You are basically treated as a number and just expected to stay in your lane. Very low pay with absolutely no discussions on trying to get the base salary inline with the rest of the industry. 30-40% more pay for less work if you go to a competitor. The company will not offer to try and keep you either. One of their core values is loyalty but the longer you are with the company the less you are valued. Opportunities are really only given to those who know someone in management or the ones that are generated from turnover.
