      * Great position to learn leadership skills, communication skills, customer service satisfaction skills, and retail store management skills. * Gain an intermediate to advanced education about automotive parts and systems for free through Autozone's Parts and Systems Knowledge Training. * Benefits other than health insurance with dental and vision plans are provided, such as discounts on electronics, restaurants, hotels, and a great gym membership deal. * Room for vertical movement within the company faster than most other companies.

      Cons

      * Starting pay could definitely be higher. * Most supervisors don't know how to properly train new employees. * Lack of a team-oriented work environment. * Younger employees (Gen Z) lack Autozone's core value, which is to treat EVERYONE with dignity and respect.

      Good people, easy job, 20% discount on all parts. "greyshirts" typically make 30%-50% more than "redshirts" ($14-18 in my area)

      Cons

      higher management doesn't promote nearly as much as they should and has a bad habit of hiring into seniority rather than promoting within.
