      AutoZoners try to put customers first, despite the lack of support from upper management.

      Pros

      The auto parts industry is very stable in an economy that is not. If you want a job where you are not worried about getting laid off this is it.

      Cons

      Work way to many hours. Do not have enough staffing to be able to manage your store. You spend most of your time answering phones and waiting on customers. To much micro management. There literally a report that reports on what reports you have printed.

      Pros

      A steady job that is not affected by any economic time is probably the only pro about this place. Also the knowledge gained is very good as well.

      Cons

      I failed to get a raise in my first year working because I started in the middle of the year and they only give raises once a year and not when you were hired. Ridiculous. I am getting paid less than someone who is not a manager, while I am a manager. I have worked here for 3 years and have only received 2 raises. They don't respect your employees, and don't provide uniforms. I work hard enough to receive some type of compensation. I mean 10 an hour for working somewhere for 3 years as a manager. Totally ridiculous.

      Good Benefits Package if you can be hired on as a full time Employee Job Stability is high and it's difficult to be terminated

      Cons

      Communication between upper management and Store Manager and below is very poor. Too strong of focus on Add ons that aren't always necessary, with a risk of write ups/ termination. Lack of promotion from within. Very poor pay for the amount of work/stress/lack of life outside the store.
