Pros

Good culture, great people to work with except to the director level management

Cons

Constant state of restructuring and layoffs. Your just a number to the directors at Autodesk. If your outside of San Francisco you have no growth opportunitites

Pros

Really cool products. Great talent in workforce. Beautiful workplaces. So much potential to create great products.

Cons

Company only cares about pleasing stockholders and not customers. Would consistently bypass needed product improvements that existing customers were begging for and instead focus on sexy shiny bauble features that would attract new customers. They didn't care if customers complained because Autodesk's strategy is to buy up any potential product competitors so customers have no choice. Horrible place to work if you care about producing quality products and giving customers what they need. Also, it suspiciously seemed that "older" folks were being "encouraged" to leave by offering the juicy projects to younger staff. Politics were toxic. Managers took care of themselves and hung their people out to dry.

Pros

best reason to work here is because bart is closer to office

Cons

(1) low traffic estore...no big technical challenges... (2) low salaries compared to market in SF. (3) lot of politics in the store side...all you need to do is show-off... take my words... who ever works diligently will not grow here... who ever show off and pretend that they are doing something will grow... you don't have to complete what you have started but you just need to do it in a fancy way that's it...no quality required or no definition of done...if you do this way, you are favorite to your manager.. why? because manager can show off this to their upper level... (4) no proper direction for the management and no body cares about the customer in the ecommerce team...everyone codes but no one troubleshoots :)
