      Great product, company lacks strong direction

      Pros

      The people at Autodesk are wonderful to work with, everyone is upbeat and positive. Most positions offer a flexible working environment where you are able to work from home part or full-time.

      Cons

      In the marketing department it is incredibly bureaucratic in all of its processes. The operations team controls all marketing platforms which makes it difficult to be nimble in making any changes or implementing new campaigns. Also, leadership team is inconsistent with their communications about the direction of the company.

      Pros

      Opportunities exist everywhere as long as you establish a track record. You have to come in strong to get that necessary foothold. The career path is not clearly defined, but the opportunities exist. Flex time Sabbaticals

      Cons

      Management issues - leaders aren't held to the right standard and the impacts it has on teams is not considered enough. Passing a test to be a director doesn't prove you are right for the company. Some measurement is needed. Vacation time is limited so you have to plan your extra time off at the Christmas holiday.

      Pros

      Nice salary and benefit. Smart people with humor. Many company events which brought ppl together and got familiar with each other. Strong products.

      Cons

      Frequent Org change. Tons of meetings. Direction not very clear. Too many contractors but they played key role to make decision. It might not be good for long term.
