Pros

CEO has a clear direction in mind and the company is full of smart people doing the work. Company has a huge cash cow in the shape of AutoCAD. The compensation and benefits are quite good.

Cons

The company is riven with politics, acquisitions of formerly rival companies often leaves simmering feuds. The various divisions act as information silos with much work duplicated multiple times. The corporate groups that are there to try and bring the teams together are mostly ineffectual.

Pros

Empowered employees, start-up culture, work-life balance, directness, passionate colleagues, customers that are changing the world. Opportunities for lateral movement. Always looking at investing in new tech and acquisitions. Managers understand the value of employees prototyping new ideas, failing and learning - continue to encourage such behavior from all.

Cons

We have done badly at branding our company. Although it is changing, we could do better by publishing more of our enterprise customers' stories. We don't invest much in (some regions) interns and fresh grads. We could bring more energy in by doing more. For a design software maker - many of our office spaces aren't the most beautiful.

Pros

Work is varied and interesting, with solid growth and new opportunities, lots of opportunity for travel. The culture is respectful and nurtures employees who wish to explore new opportunities. Colleagues are intelligent and nice people for the most part, and management respects work life balance

Cons

As with any large company, some processes can be bureaucratic and cumbersome, with too many people involved in a process. Sometimes hard to get oversight of what other departments or geographical divisions are working on
