Pros

Organized. Good pay. Good benefits.

Cons

Bottom line tops all, including quality, innovation and personnel, more so than other businesses. American head office calls the shots, with Montreal having some say, but not Toronto. Republican slant politically. They buy innovation, they don't make it. They almost discourage it.

Pros

Great people, interesting products, decent work-life balance

Cons

Management structure very hierarchical, Autodesk is ho-hum traditional when it comes to managing staff and careers. Too many people called "managers" who are not given the time and priority to do so, skills are sorely lacking. How about trying to innovate with company culture and management practices and not just in your products? Introduce position rotation - *no one* should be in the same role for > 10 years! Politics play too large a role here.
