      Pros

      very mature company culture: we have our mission for building product and profit, you have your own life, and we pay you to do your job. none of the BS about changing the world by joining our company's own brand of cult. I feel the most important thing someone in the software business is not to be bothered and be left alone to do their job as long as possible. adsk has a culture around that where they trust your independence and competency.

      Cons

      management tends to re-org quite often, but none of it actually reaches your day-to-day life

      Pros

      Autodesk is an ethical, humble, and good place. The current CEO is smart, transparent, and human. Work life balance is strong. This is a great place to get your start, take a break between faster-paced jobs, or retire.

      Cons

      It is almost impossible to get promoted. There are no initiatives for employee retention, and there is a huge pay gap between incoming and existing workers. Autodesk isn’t a top tech company, so it doesn’t attract top talent. This also means it tolerates mediocrity; it’s very hard to get fired here. Team culture and leadership is dependent on department.

      Good WLB but not enough growth and promotion

      Pros

      Great WLB and people. Good impact on work if you find the right stakeholder and project to work on.

      Cons

      Lots of colleagues are rest and vesting so you constantly feel the lack of momentum or proactiveness in their work. Below market average pay and slow promotion. More tenure based than performance based. Too much stupid politics and dumbxss questions being asked
