Great company, but no internal growth

Pros

It's a great company because they hire smart people and encourage continuous reflection of business models and process to support future revenue growth. A very forward-thinking company in this respect.

Cons

I did not find a clear path to manage my personal career growth. HR said to work with direct manager; yet direct managers did not have career development budget or skills. This aspect was not forward-thinking, and they are losing some bright minds and motivated people.

Pros

Interesting products on leading edge of reality capture, 3D printing, AR/VR, digital twins and prototyping. Strong R&D.

Cons

Recent round of layoffs hit employees 55+ at a rate of 3X compared to overall employee base. Constant promotion from execs on value of interns over existing employee "domain expertise."
