Pros

-You'll get many benefits, such as being able to work from anywhere within the US, 'unlimited' PTO, bonus, medical insurance, and more. -They set you up with your own equipment and the quality is very high -Relatively small teams so you can feel right at home. -Coworkers are really friendly.

Cons

-It can be really tedious to complete your work due to limitations within the projects and the release schedules. -If you're looking for international remote work, it won't be allowed.

We are delighted to hear that you appreciate our benefits, including the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US, our 'unlimited' PTO, and high-quality equipment. It's great to know that our small team environment and friendly coworkers have made you feel at home. We also acknowledge your concerns about project limitations and release schedules. Your feedback is valuable, and we are continuously improving our processes to make the work experience smoother for everyone. We recommend that you speak with your manager if you have any recommendations for improving the process. Pros

The remote work structure and "pay for performance" are taken seriously. You are doing meaningful work and most managers will take your calls without a second thought.

Cons

It can be stressful work. The company is transitioning for "start up phase" to "heavy hitter" phase and that comes with growing pains. It's an intense place for sure. They can also be slow to get rid of people who need to go sometimes.

Thank you for your valuable feedback and for sharing your experience at Availity. We greatly appreciate your positive comments about our remote work structure and the "pay for performance" approach. It is wonderful to hear that you find meaning in your work and that our managers are accessible and supportive. We recognize that the journey can present challenges as we evolve from a startup into a more established organization. Your point about growing pains is well taken, and we're actively working to manage this transition thoughtfully, including the rollout of our Bullet Train operating model, which is designed to help manage these changes more effectively. Regarding your feedback on the pace of performance management, our Human resources and Learning Development teams work in lockstep with the leaders to ensure we are coaching in the moment and taking swift action as needed. Thank you for being a part of Availity and contributing to our growth and success!

Pros

The unlimited PTO is good. The matching on retirement is good. There are a lot of other helpful people working there, and that's also nice.

Cons

The stress is crazy and getting worse. There is the usual corporate disconnect between high and low level employees with outrageous time expectations. They do not keep your salary competitive when you've been there a long time, and hire newcomers with less experience at higher salaries.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for your continued commitment over the past 6 years. We're glad to hear that you value the unlimited PTO, retirement matching, and the support of your colleagues—these are all things we're proud to offer and foster within our culture. We also want to sincerely acknowledge your concerns about stress, communication gaps, and compensation. We know there are some growing pains, especially at the rapid rate of growth Availity has experienced in the last year, and we're actively working to address them. Our All-associate meetings, weekly emails from the CEO, the Bullet train operating model, and departmental town halls are just some of our communication methods to ensure team alignment. We also welcome your feedback and encourage you to discuss your ideas for improvement with your manager further. We truly appreciate you raising these issues. Your voice helps shape the future of Availity, and we're grateful to have you on the team.
