Pros

Plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and lead with in the extended global operations network. Great to gain experience quickly within low to mid level after graduating.

Cons

Highly cost competitive, low margin, and high turnover environment. Multiple leadership shakedowns resulting in massive disruption to the business. Overall very short sighted company with low integrity.

Pros

Your coworkers, the ones in the trenches with you - they matter. The company as a whole is trying to embrace a lot of modern technology to continue delivering competitive edge to it's customers. The goals and projects are very clear, and there is a lot of work that needs delivering. If you can secure a job here, the pay is competitive, the work/life balance can be good, and the industry is very engaging. There is always something new to learn. They have a strong investment in the Google and "SaaS" platforms.

Cons

The current 2020 IT leadership has decided that culture does not matter. They are focused entirely on protecting a hierarchy and kneecapping the valuable knowledge from past workers by sending all entry level and "associate" IT positions (the ones that actually talk to users) to India. They have also moved all IT roles with any "technical" focus to India or to a 3rd party supplier. It doesn't matter if you are a minority or a high performer with a solid track record. If your role goes, you are gone. By only looking at the "role" they are ignoring the individuals that occupy the roles, and not seeing the intangible value that they bring as experienced professionals, women, minorities and workers with integrity and investment in AD's success. Non-IT departments have also suffered from restructuring movements, but the lack of investment in skilled, dedicated and knowledgeable IT staff is extremely visible to everyone. There are NO entry level positions for IT staff, unless you are willing to relocate to India. Any skills that IT leadership consider valuable will have to be earned outside of the company.

Pros

- Associates and Mid-Level employees friendly and most are willing to help - Great benefits

Cons

- Lack of communication from upper management - Leadership is not engaging, some won't even reply when you say "hi" in the hallways - Constant "looking over your shoulder" mentality - Lots of employees, especially the customer facing ones, burnt out from a "do more with less" mindset
