Cons

Such a complex organization with too many layers. Employees are not taken care of anymore.

Pros

Many talented and experienced personnel that one specially in fields of material science and chemistry could learn and grow. Avery has various training programs in Lean and Six Sigma that could help an individual in learning these basics.

Cons

Higher management is not always understanding and supportive of hard working employees. Like most corporate environments, there were many incidences that recognition was tied to how good an individual's relation is with higher management rather than their results and performance.

Although there are many opportunities for advancement at Avery, the pay rate is not fair in many cases, especially in the GOLD Program.

Cons

Lots of relocation without being very flexible with employees wishes. Seems like very political within the corporate level also.
