      Pros

      While working at Avery Office Products, I take pride in knowing that the organization is not filled with a bunch of back-stabbing, climb to the top at anothers expense group of individuals. I appreciate the smart thinking and reliable talent that I'm currently working with and i hope to stay and grow within the organization. I feel my supervisor has a lot to offer for my career growth and development.

      Cons

      sometimes too democratic in decision making. Not willing to stand out and take a risk or two to drive the business or process forward.

      This isn't a company for jerks. People here are very nice to each other, and work well together to get things done.

      Cons

      Felt my salary was a little low, and sometimes I have to work ridiculous hours during the busy times, and there could be better mentoring provided.

      Opportunities to learn Six Sigma and Lean, individual contributors are autonomous in completing goals. strong leadership development opportunities for those chosen

      Cons

      Definitely a culture where there are the "chosen few" who get access to best resources and opportunities. If you are on the recruited leadership track all is great but if not the likelihood of advancing is not as great.
