excellent work/life balance

Pros

Employees can work fully remote, or if they're local to HQ, can be more hybrid. Frequent opportunities to gather together in-person, with multiple virtual meetings each week, fosters community. Plenty of paid holidays, incl. the days between Christmas and New Years.

Cons

Non-profit, so salary isn't as high as it might be in a for-profit company.

Incredibly healthy and transparent organization. Everyone really cares - not only about the mission of the organization - but also the people in the organization.

Cons

A little bit of a learning curve at first into the culture from the private-sector.
