Pros
After working at Axcient for over a year, I can say that I enjoy coming into work every day. I think that is something that is lost and undervalued in the modern workplace.
Axcient has a culture of success that is apparent in the constant push towards developing new technological innovations in the industry. They foster growth within the company which is very prevalent in their "promote from within" initiative. I've never been a part of a company that invests so much in the growth and development of their employees.
They also have the best benefits I've had as a full time employee anywhere. Full, comprehensive coverage on health insurance, paid time off, 401K contributions and a very competitive compensation plan that is built to reward success. Weekly happy hours, ping pong, a fully stocked kitchen with endless snacks which, while bad for my wasteline, certainly is a nice perk.
It all leads back to Axcient caring for their employees. I feel like a valued member of a winning team.
Cons
There are a lot of territory realignments which sometimes makes it difficult to build and foster relationships the way I'd like. The expense system can be a mess so sometimes it can take a while to be reimbursed for some travel or other expenses.
