My dream job

Pros

- There's incredible opportunity to pursue my professional interests and goals. - It's a mission-minded company. We're all working toward the same big goals. - Coworkers are brilliant, and a ton of fun to be around. - Some of the smartest, most talented reporters — such as Mike Allen, Jonathan Swan, Kim Hart, David Nather, Dan Primack — go out of their way to give advice and invest in younger reporters. - Everyone is driven, incredibly talented and passionate about what they do. But they're also just good people.

Cons

- Can't think of much... As with any media startup, the news never sleeps, which sometimes means you don't get much sleep yourself. But there's never pressure from management to work extra hours.

Pros

I am constantly surrounded by talent who inspire me to do my best work and give more than 100%. The culture is a perfect pairing of startup spirit and the structure of a mature organization. The executive team makes it a priority to provide internal communication to the entire team, which is important to me. Despite being such a young company, they are dedicated to providing a welcoming and comfortable work environment for everyone.

Cons

You need to be comfortable with a scrappy, fast-paced and changing work environment. There's no time to be bored!
