Pros

Visionary leadership, working with the smartest entrepreneurs in news — Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen and Roy Schwartz — and with genuine masters of their beats, whether it be energy, tech, politics, media, or business. Genuinely ambitious, supportive, creative environment.

Cons

I really can't think of any.

Pros

- Transparent and supportive work environment. - Flexibility with schedule and time, if needed. - Independence to work on projects you believe are newsworthy and important. - Talented colleagues who genuinely care about each other and who want to create a media company that informs people while eliminating the noise. - Quick turnarounds and open communication with colleagues. The messaging system Slack has been vital.

Cons

- It's a startup, so some things are still in flux and decided on the fly. Not necessarily bad, just need to be easygoing.
