      Pros

      It's a small enough company at the moment that your voice is heard even in departments that you may not work for -- Having the All-Staff Meetings every Monday are super helpful where you can ask questions anonymously to the Executives and the founders -- It's helpful that they are also super honest with their answers.

      Cons

      Managers are always busy in meetings due to this being a start-up so management and progress reports can sometimes get pushed to the side based on internal priorities

      Pros

      One of the best reasons to work at Axios: transparency. The founders and exec team are really open about the decisions they make and what to expect from the company. You can tell that the people that work there are Jim's top priority.

      Cons

      Everyone says this but if you aren't up for a start-up, don't work at a start-up. We move extremely quickly and that isn't for everyone.

      Pros

      This is a hard time for many media organizations but I have seen our management shine under the current pressure of the economic climate. Our founders and leaders have been prepared and transparent, putting our worries at ease. Axios was built by innovators, which is how we've been able to adapt and thrive. I've never been apart of such a collaborative environment, where everyone is encouraged to share their ideas and feedback.

      Cons

      With so many innovators, things change and shift quite a bit. I find it to be an exciting challenge, but it might not be for everyone.
