Pros

Open, organized & communicative. High career mobility. Because the product is security & stability, the culture can live up to those values.

Cons

Some departments have management issues. At-the-office policy is Mon-Fri and minimum 10AM-3PM. Propaganda is excessive but mostly accurate.

Pros

Super interesting technology, a lot of smart people, big focus on working together. Company develops their own ASIC, which allows for super interesting work for engineers. Great people and great products.

Cons

No possibility for career growth. Company is quickly losing control of its growth and of its different departments. In the last couple of years the experts and seniors are leaving at a faster pace. Constantly saw experts with 10, 15, sometimes 20 years of experience still stuck at the initial stage of engineering role. That is plainly unacceptable. Absurdly low salary, several bad apples that are not dealt with for years. Bad apples are both 1) Engineers in the team (not doing anything - literally - and just left to themselves since there is nothing the manager can do apparently.) 2) Managers. My manager was actually a bully to everyone that disagreed with him, mentioned problems in the team, or complained about salary. He went as far as shun people that started questioning his ways of working. HR was absolutely no help and the only thing they did was enter a damage control state where they only talked to the manager and not with me.

Thank you for your critical review. While we are thrilled with the many positive reviews we receive, we also believe critical reviews are equally as important in order to learn and grow. It’s an exciting time for Axis on many fronts and as a fast growing company. As we grow, we continue to focus on the core values, our employees wellbeing and our corporate culture that have distinguished us in the job market and empower those managers and employees best equipped to make decisions that affect our growth. If you feel comfortable, we’d like to learn more about some of the cons you have listed to assess how we can do better for the future. Please feel free to contact your HR contact at Axis. Good Luck in your future endeavours. BR Tina
