Pros

Office Facilities: Great workspace with ergonomic chairs, sturdy tables, 24" DELL monitors, MacBooks provided, plus 8-pool table and a PS5 for relaxation. Company Bonding: Fun activities like Happy Friday, Family Day, Autumn Festival, and an annual company trip help build a friendly culture. Team Bonding: Teams receive a quarterly company-sponsored budget for bonding activities. Lunch Budget: A helpful lunch budget is provided to support employees’ daily meals.

Cons

While the company offers great perks, the on-call culture can be hectic and challenging for maintaining a true work-life balance.

Pros

The product is mission driven and does have real purpose. You work on stuff that can help people.

Cons

A couple of things: - Going forward, all new hires must come into the office 4 days a week but anyone who was hired before a certain date gets to stay remote. So you go into the office for no reason? - There is a curve here, and there is a stack ranking and firing that goes on. A certain percentage of people must be fired or "managed out" and if you don't think it will happen to you then you just haven't been around long enough. - Cross collaboration between pillars (think divisions) is non-existent. It's pulling teeth.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you value our mission and connect deeply to the impact of your work. Thank you for sharing your concerns about our in-office guidance. We truly believe that collaborating in person drives our best innovation and outcomes. To that end, we’re focusing hiring near our hubs and encouraging more in-office connection across our global teams. At the same time, we recognize we have incredible talent across the globe, and will continue to support hybrid or remote work when possible. Axon is a high-performance culture, and we are united by our drive to solve some of society’s toughest challenges. Our performance philosophy is built on growth, development, and transparency.
