Pros

Weekends and holidays are off.

Cons

Basically no training, no support from coworkers, everybody works remotely so new employees are at the mercy of customers who then ask why workers are unable to help, is because we don't have help ourselves.

Our Bankers go through 4-5 weeks of training upon joining Axos and we utilize MS Teams to keep the team connected. You are encouraged to speak with your supervisor.

Pros

• Location o Lots of parking o 3-minute walk to UTC mall o Sandwiched between i5 and i805 • JBA Program o It’s a rotational program that allows a young professional to experience up to three different departments of the bank within the 1 ½ years of the program. o The JBA program has over 50 JBA’s which makes for a fun time if you like working with peers of the same age. o Managers provide a growth-driven environment, where it is expected that you are learning and bettering yourself and the company, so come ready to learn something new every day. o Lunch & Learns give JBAs the opportunity to hear from Axos executives about their professionally story, job insight, and usually offers a time for any burning questions are the end. o There is usually at least one fun social event for all of the JBA’s. • Given Large Responsibilities Early On o The JBA program is a way to prove yourself before entering a permanent position at the bank. You are set to a high standard, and the more you achieve, the more you are rewarded come the bonus periods. While there is still a safety net, it gives JBA’ s the opportunity to show off what you got.

Cons

• Compensation o When compared to other entry level positions, this job is not the highest paying, although still competitive. The way I see it is you are paid more in terms of experience and opportunities, which you can then leverage in your subsequent professional move.

Thank you for your review. As you said, our JBA program is challenging and rewarding in our meritocratic workplace. We are proud to foster a community of growth and collaboration for our Jr. Banking Analysts. Many of our leaders at Axos have come from this program. Irvine company manages our Class-A offices.
