Pros

- Particularly in GRC, leadership from the EVP down is top notch. They will always provide insight to coach you to become a better individual - Great way to learn a lot of different roles vs being complacent in one individual role.

Cons

- Constant pivots on strategy initiative from upper management. - Lack of software developers and resources to scale data systems efficiently.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate and value your input. This year, we're focused on bringing in new software development talent that will help with our development efforts across the organization. In addition, Axos is a complex and diverse environment which has to meet the demands of constantly changing economic headwinds. However, the core strategic themes for Axos remain the same.

The JBA program is unique in that we provide a high-level of exposure early on in your career and put a large focus on training and development. We provide our JBAs with monthly Lunch & Learns taught by executives in the bank, a formal mentorship program, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, Mortgage Bankers Association trainings, and one-on-one trainings with managers and tenured JBAs. Once promoted out of this program, high performing analysts are quickly moved into leadership roles. Multiple SVPs in the bank started in this program. When considering the entirety of our compensation package, the salary plus discretionary merit-based semi-annual bonus is competitive. You are encouraged to speak with the program coordinator to maximize development opportunities within the program.

Pros

First, it's a structured and transparent environment where people have chances for professional growth. There are lots of opportunities to learn and develop new skills, especially for those early in their careers. Collaboration is strongly encouraged, and there's an overall sense of positivity. I get to work with talented and knowledgeable people who are always willing to help.

Cons

There's a strict in-person work policy.

Axos strongly believes our best work happens when employees are together. The office environment provides opportunities for collaboration and spontaneous interaction that simply doesn't happen virtually. We have recently added a new on-demand learning platform that offers over 30k courses.
