One of the worst places I've worked at. Switch & Bait to get You In. Low company values and morale
Pros
- Slight above-average salary for San Diego - "9 to 5" - look at Cons - Nice buildings, coffee machines, and gym, but doesn't matter - Some decent co-workers
Cons
- "Switch & Bait" rewards, job responsibilities and incentives to get new hires in the door. Ridiculous bonus: Highest cap supposedly at 20% [via grapevine, when we were all told can reach 100%]. I met all of my assignments well but my reward was too low. Coworkers also quite upset - Disorganized managers who procrastinate and force subordinates to stress out and work all the time last-minute - Not enough training, nor formal training program at all - 9 to 5, but many are overloaded, overworked, w/ unappreciated work. Huge turnaround, no one ever stays over 2 years - Major politics, transparency doesn't exist despite CEO msgs, catty/nosy co-workers, inappropriate relations btwn male managers to subordinates - Depts are Silo'ed with each other, other dept. often blame other dept for problems. No accountability and throwing coworkers under the bus - Associates don't even bank within Axos Bank. That should be a BIG clue - Low company morale, virtually no culture - Look at Google... many customers hate us
