Pros

The job offers a good starting point and a nice opportunity to build up experience. There are quite a few young and inexperienced employees here, which sometimes slows the rest of the team down. On the bright side, the people working here are nice and supportive, so we get things done.

Cons

Pay raises are rare and small.

Pros

Team members/Middle managers are the only reason I stayed Good place to start for first job

Cons

Poor salary as related to similar industry roles No WFH, meetings are all on teams so what's the point... Crumbling infrastructure Tracking software installed on all employee computers for "productivity" Micromanagement by internal teams for project tracking HR "anonymous" surveys, will still sit you down to discuss responses No growth

While remote work offers convenience and flexibility for some, our organization strongly believes that working in-office fosters collaboration, innovation, and a sense of community that is difficult to replicate in a virtual environment. Being physically present allows for spontaneous problem-solving, faster decision-making, and opportunities for mentorship and team bonding that naturally occur when working alongside colleagues. Our compensation packages are competitive when you consider the base salary plus discretionary merit-based bonus. We seek to reward individual performance given our meritocracy to maximize personal growth and to provide ongoing opportunities. The purpose of anonymous employee engagement surveys is to provide organizations with candid, actionable insights into employee experiences, satisfaction, and overall engagement levels. Our employee surveys are managed through a third-party vendor that does not share the identity of individuals, therefore ensuring confidentiality.

Pros

A good place to start in finance. You deal with all kinds of banking stuff, so you learn a lot really quickly. The people here are supportive, so it's easy to settle in. Overall, the team vibe is great. My day-to-day involves handling loan payments, reversing transactions when needed, and balancing everything at the end of the day. Competitive pay and benefits with a bonus opportunity on top.

Cons

The job is interesting but comes with its responsibilities. I mean, don't expect a walk in the park - this is important stuff.
