Pros

The good thing is you get exposure to various aspects of banking and finance, so you can learn a lot. Also, commuters will find the office conveniently located, and the surrounding area is great. There's good communication and collaboration among team members. However, some people may not fit in here because the pace is quite fast and expectations tend to be high.

Cons

It would be nice to have more autonomy.

Our compensation package is intended to reward our high performers based on their contribution and tenure. It is most beneficial to those who remain at Axos longer term as the vesting schedule for our stock grants is 3 years (1/3 vests per year). The upside potential of becoming a shareholder gives the opportunity to generate long term wealth.

An Example of Awful Leadership

Pros

I am not sure what to write here when I had the most terrible experience with the leadership and the work processes.

Cons

Upper management is awful. They make terrible decisions and then push employees to handle the chaos they create. The processes are terribly complicated, too, and add to employee stress. Please beware of these hard facts before you join.

Banking is heavily regulated and often seen as inflexible, driven by the need to protect consumers and maintain a stable and secure financial environment. Any deviation from established procedures can lead to serious consequences, including regulatory violations, loss of credibility, and harm to the organization and its clients. This adherence to processes and procedures serves as a safeguard to maintain high standards and accountability at every level.
