Stressful with no rewards

Pros

Decent job for getting experience, but I wouldn't recommend staying here for a long time.

Cons

Incredibly stressful and unrewarding. You'll be taking on massive workloads and work long hours, and while your responsibilities might grow the longer you work here, your salary isn't going to see the same amount of growth.

Axos operates in the extremely dynamic and competitive financial services industry. Accordingly, Axos moves quickly to maintain its strong competitive position within that market. We understand that this can be challenging. Axos has a formal annual compensation review. We encourage our Team Members to speak with their managers wherever improvement is needed.

Pros

There is a whole lot of teamwork with this group. I used to play a lot of basketball in my younger years, and I can tell you that we are starting to play hard and well-- like a finely tuned team. We broadened our scope to do a major process overhaul with key reporting requirements.

Cons

There's still a lot of improvements that can be made in our process. Headwinds are still predicted. But with the caliber of people that are now part of this group, I know that challenges can be met and tackled with a high level of confidence.

Pros

- Particularly in GRC, leadership from the EVP down is top notch. They will always provide insight to coach you to become a better individual - Great way to learn a lot of different roles vs being complacent in one individual role.

Cons

- Constant pivots on strategy initiative from upper management. - Lack of software developers and resources to scale data systems efficiently.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate and value your input. This year, we're focused on bringing in new software development talent that will help with our development efforts across the organization. In addition, Axos is a complex and diverse environment which has to meet the demands of constantly changing economic headwinds. However, the core strategic themes for Axos remain the same.
