Pros

flexible working decent starting salary relaxed atmosphere

Cons

poor management poor progression too many 'yes' men (who are rewarded) innovation is discouraged (and this is coming from someone who won two chairmans awards for innovation) poor communication processes and sign-off loops are extremely restrictive 'thats not my job' mentality extremely silo-d workforce, even within the same project teams bullying and blame culture is rife graduates have a sense of entitlement poor performance management (I now someone who is tagged as an engineer, but a more realistic tag would be 'professional solitaire player')

Pros

Good Induction Process. Excellent IT facilities and support. Good working environment. Good flexible benefits package.

Cons

Parking can be problematic, especially with a big car. Small allocated desk space and storage. Difficult to get a room for meetings as always seems to be in short supply.

Pros

It was good to see that the company runs a decent two-day induction course to set people off on the right foot. Starting has been the usual admin soup but systems and processes seem relatively slick. Company has a decent intranet to find all necessary information. Staff seem bright and positive. Management keen to grow the company. Some large contracts with plenty of opportunity.

Cons

Nothing springs to mind yet. I have only been here a week so it is too early to be disillusioned.
