      Pros

      Committed and hardworking set of employees trying to muddle through . Good working environment and high level processes. Some parts are quite efficient - aircraft related primarily. Short working hours as most people didn't do unpaid overtime.

      Cons

      Maritime Systems was viewed by staff as scoring 2/10 in engineering, financial, project control areas. Open loop configuration management, ETC reporting was just Budget - Actual. Management out of their depth and talked without acting.

      Good Salary and Benefits for a graduate job Very social and friendly environment great office Interesting work Good Induction

      Cons

      office not big enough for amount of workers Recruitment process slow (after first interview i heard back the next day but after the second interview i had to chase up and didnt receive an answer until a month or more later) not much contact from management on the first couple of weeks regarding a project for you to start some people seem to end up spending a long time waiting to start on a project.

      Wide range of opportunities. Good early career development and progression.

      Cons

      Poor development and progression path once reaching senior engineer position - still not addressed after years of promising it would be. Transition to Executive roles initiallyseen as a backward step.
