Lots of interesting and varied work. Semi flexible working available. Great degree of autonomy within a process led environment.

Cons

Little training. Development is based around watching your peers. In grade promotion or remuneration is very rare once you're in post. Little incentive bar title to move between senior staff and management grades.

No training, little chance of promotion, spending lots of time away from home (which suits some people), long hours expected, poor work/life balance
