      Excellent and really interesting product, services and technologies Opportunity to be involved, manage, lead large value, complex and long term projects / platforms Provided you are flexible if needed with location - there is always somewhere in the company that needs your skill set Strong and consistent strategy and governance principles

      Politics involved in everything Outsourced IT and HR services that don't work Many people that are not prepared to take a decision and have to push everything upwards If you don't push yourself into stretch activities and your own self development - you will get limited support

      Pros

      Training and development is taken seriously and there are lots of opportunities to develop yourself but you do need to be proactive about it.

      Cons

      Just the standard ones of working in a large organisation, can be quite a bit of bureaucracy and quite a few management layers which can slow down decisions.
