Pros

Detica has grown from strength to strength over the last few years. The key thing for me is the keenness of employees to always do a good job and deliver for out clients.

Cons

There is an expectation that the 40 hour week is only the minimum. Some people work significantly longer hours although this is often well rewarded. I am comfortably able to leave by 6.30pm each evening.

Management although friendly, did not want to or were not able to negotiate proper pay for the location. I imagine alot of good talent has been passed by

- Recognition for good work and hard work. - Good company pension scheme. - Excellent work/life balance. - Some excellent managers/leaders at the very top. - Very good communication of management/company objectives.

Cons

- Benefits vary too much from site to site. - Suffers too much from brain drain - need to recruit and retain good enginners. - Security policies stifle innovation, conflict with business agility and have too much negative impact on productivity. - Some very average managers/leaders at the top who move from role to role doing very little.
