Pros
- A number, sadly dwindling, of excellent people - Decent work-life balance - Free coffee - I learned everything I know professionally in my early years at BAE
Cons
- A bloated management structure reminiscent of British Leyland c.1970, but somehow less innovative - Incoherent alignment with wider BAE strategy e,g. we were branded a cyber security firm, supporting BAES's wider value proposition, and then promptly divested ourselves of our cyber security capability - A focus on risk management at the expense of actually delivering value for customers - An over-reliance on certain 'stars' who play well in consultancy slideware but don't know how to deliver - Non-competitive salaries for mid-senior technical roles, and with it an inability to retain organisational knowhow
