      Pros

      Decent Salary and good people to work with at the non-managerial levels

      Cons

      Very biased and judgemental to people of color. If you are anything other than white, you will not get a fair shake for promotional opportunities. Currently in another re-organization, and star employees are being forced out due to non acceptance of their cultural backgrounds or color. People are actually resigning without jobs due to the unfair treatment.

      Pros

      Defense work can't be off-shored. Good people, dedicated to helping the soldier. Career opportunities are good but only if you are willing to relocate. Values are excellent. BAE Systems places a lot of emphasis on ethics and safety.

      Cons

      Culture is very poor. Severe cost challenges make it not a fun place to work right now. Moral and confidence in leadership is poor. Slow motion pull-out of Santa Clara site is demoralizing. Advancement is too contingent on mobility. If you can't or don't want to relocate, don't expect to grow beyond middle management.

      Pros

      co workers make it easy to keep coming into work each day.

      Cons

      decisions are made at a high level with what seems to be no real understanding of its impact or fallout. employees are left to take the blame of gaps in responsibilities left from those layed off. no loyalty to workers with as much as three decades of commitment. a lot of good experience and talent leaving or reduced.
